Role Overview

The Role of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) leads and owns SEO strategy across the Betsperts Group websites.

This position will own the SEO P&L and be responsible for scalability and SEO growth and development across all Betsperts Group ecosystems and websites. The role will partner with the Director of Content, CEO, and COO to achieve revenue growth through SEO best practices.

The Director of SEO will also oversee external partners to assist with implementation and tactics. This key role reports to the Chief Operating Officer.

Responsibilities

• Own the SEO budget and strategy to drive the performance of the P&L for the business.

• Work with the content director to build and manage teams and budgets focused on SEO, content, user experience, link building, and product development.

• Coach the team, provide outstanding leadership, and create a positive culture.

• Collaborate with leaders to "connect the dots" on your organic initiatives with other company-wide initiatives.

• Monitor and maximize external B2B SEO partnerships.

Experience and Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience operating in digital publishing, content marketing (B2B), or content affiliate sites with a primary SEO focus.

• Experience in the i-gaming or sports betting industry is a strong advantage.

• Strong SEO experience and track record of getting content to rank in high-competition SERPs.

• Demonstrated success in leading teams to hit financial performance goals.

• Ownership and growth of large P&Ls.

• Experience with complex analytical problem-solving.

• Bachelor's degree in an analytically oriented discipline (e.g., business, economics, statistics, etc.) or a technology-oriented discipline.

• Competitive drive and a hunger to learn.

• Entrepreneurial spirit.

• Comfort in a fast-paced and often changing environment.
